ENびょういんへ いきました
HIकल सुबह से सिरदर्द-गला, शाम 3 बजे क्लीनिक गए; बुख़ार है, सर्दी, आराम 3-4 दिन।
I had a bad headache from yesterday morning. My throat hurt too, and I couldn't get out of bed easily. So I went to the hospital near my house at 3 PM. The doctor said, "You have a fever. It's a cold. Get some rest today and tomorrow." I got medicine and went home. I had a hot coffee and went to bed early. My headache is gone today — I feel better. I should be able to go to school tomorrow.

Visiting the doctor (病院 / clinic) for a cold (かぜ) or fever (ねつ) is normal preventive care in Japan, not just for emergencies. The doctor will likely prescribe medication, recommend rest at home, and issue a 診断書 (medical certificate) if you need to skip work. National Health Insurance covers 70% of costs; you pay 30% on the spot. Pharmacies (薬局) are next door to the clinic.
