JA「どこか」は ある ばしょを いいます。「どこも」は ない／ません と いっしょに つかって、「どこにも 〜ない」と いう いみに なります。「どこかへ 行きたいです」「どこも あいて いません」。
Explanation
Indefinite-place instance of the parent rule at Question word + か / も compounds. どこか = 'somewhere'; どこも + negative = 'nowhere' (どこにも いきません). The locative particle (に, で) often surfaces between どこ and も in negative contexts — どこにも instead of just どこも.

Common mistakes
✗ どこか 行きません。
✓ どこも 行きません。
With negative, どこも = "(go) nowhere". どこか + negative is ungrammatical.
✗ どこも 行きたいです。
✓ どこか 行きたいです。
"Want to go somewhere" is affirmative wish - use どこか.
✗ どこかが いきたいです。
✓ どこかへ いきたいです。
Directional motion uses へ (or に). が would put 'somewhere' in subject position — doesn't fit 行きたい (want to go). The pattern is どこか + へ/に + Verb-stem + たい.
Wrong / corrected pairs
✗ どこも いきません。
✓ どこか いきました。
Context: intent: I went somewhere. どこか = somewhere (positive); どこも = nowhere (with negative).
✗ どこかへ いきません か。
✓ どこかへ いきませんか。
No space before か: ...いきませんか.
✗ どこにも いきました。
✓ どこにも いきませんでした。
どこにも requires negative ("nowhere" went).
